3 Handling

3.1 Installation and connection

The 2003 option module can be attached to all 470/480 controllers

equipped with spacer bolts.

The voltage (+V

, -V

, GND) is supplied via the spacer bolts.

The fourth spacer bolt is connected to controller inhibit. The

instrument is equipped with the required spacer bolts before

delivery.

• Remove the protection cover.

Caution!

The protection cover may only be removed and the instrument

may only be assembled by qualified personnel and when no

voltage is applied. After assembly the protection cover must

be reattached.

• Adjust the spacer bolt for -V

and the spacer screw M3x25,

which are in the assembly kit, to the other bolt lengths.

Attachment to the 47x controller:

• Position the setpoint integrator on the spacer bolts and fasten it

with the four tooth-lock washers and the spacer screws M3x25

from the assembly kit (see the following figure).

Please observe that the terminal strips of both boards (470x and

2003) have the same direction.

Attachment to the 48x controller:

• Extend the outer spacer bolts, which are used to fasten the

protection cover, with the spacer screws M4x25 from the

assembly kit.

• Position the setpoint integrator on the inner spacer bolts and

fasten it with the four tooth-lock washers and the spacer screws

M3x25 from the assembly kit.

Please observe that the terminal strips of both boards (470x and

2003) have the same direction.
