Before switching on the standard device with the communication module for

the first time, check the entire wiring for completeness, short circuit and earth

fault.

Setting the node address

ƒ In case of several interconnected Ethernet POWERLINK nodes, the addresses must

differ from each other.

ƒ For each device, the node address at the DIP switches 1 ... 128 and in code C13044 /

C14044must be set identically.

ƒ Valid node address in the Ethernet POWERLINK network:

Node address Meaning

240 E94AYCEP is a managing node.

1  100 E94AYCEP is a controlled node with another E94AYCEP as managing node.

1  239 E94AYCEP is a controlled node with a managing node of a different

manufacturer.

ƒ Lenze setting of the DIP switches 1 ... 128 = OFF (invalid value "0")

ƒ The housing labelling corresponds to the valencies of the individual DIP switches for

determining the station address.
