A simple connection without fieldbus-specific adapters

is possible.

The controller ...

• s the master for the fieldbus.

• controls the real-time capability of the bus.

• controls the access to the fieldbus. This ensures that

the fieldbus is always available for the control if

required.

• The gateway function can only be used after an

executable PLC program (with the »PLC Designer«)

has been loaded and started in the controller..

• The communication speed between the Engineering

PC and the controller is lower than in a direct

connection.
