7.2 Check PROFIBUS

Short testingof thePROFIBUSsystem intheevent of faulty initialization. The diagnosticsinformation

of the PROFIBUS fieldbus modules in the host must be considered.

For troubleshooting it can be reasonable to reduce the bus so that only one unit is connected to the

PROFIBUS.

Switch on all units or

disconnect all switched-off

units from the PROFIBUS

Are all units

connected to the

PROFIBUS

switched on?

PROFIBUS

initialization

ok?

yes

Reduce thenumber of

units connected to the

PROFIBUS

until the unit in question is

the last one connected.

Reconnect a unit

yes

Replace the unit
