The code defines the maximum PDO data size to be sent by the EPL node for the current network configuration. The

PDO mapping C13531

can assign data with a total size greater than or equal to C13072.

In the configured state, C13072 must be identical to the entry in C13066

valid for the EPL node.

This code serves to define the maximum number of the multiplexed cycles.

If, e.g., the value "3" is entered, the multiplexed cycle is repeated every three cycles. Within one multiplexed cycle,

the nodes are queried according to the values in code C13079

. If, e.g., the value "2" is entered for a node in C13079/

x, it is always queried only in the second cycle of the three multiplexed cycles.

The code defines the maximum user data size of asynchronous frames. Protocol-specific headers for POWERLINK,

UDP/IP and others as well as service-specific headers are to be interpreted as part of the user data.

In the configured state, the C13075 values of all EPL nodes must be identical.

The code defines the time interval needed for detecting a Managing Node. If a booting Controlled Node detects a

Managing Node during the interval, it changes to NMT_CS_PREOPERATIONAL_1. If not, it changes to "Basic

Ethernet Mode".
